Fancy staying at your own exclusive apartment in Ibiza for FREE? Yep, we thought you would... oh, but there's just one catch: you will be faced with imagery of sexually transmitted diseases on every surface, wall-to-wall, for the entirety of your stay.
We're serious.
Superdrug has just launched its very own 'Sexual Health Condom-inium' in Ibiza, where guests can stay for free, but at a serious price.
In order to remind single Britons to practise safe sex at all times, walls, bedding and other furniture are covered in sexual health messaging, such as images of certain viruses and facts about STIs.
"But why?!" you might ask in horror. Well, the launch of the conceptual accomodation comes after research revealed one in 12 (9%) of 18-35 year olds have contracted an STI on holiday, among the most common being chlamydia and herpes. The 'Condom-inium' therefore acts as a reminder (and a very bold one at that) to singles to be extra careful while on their va-cay.
During your stay, Superdrug also treats you to a 'safe sex intimacy kit' which includes condoms and a STI home testing kit.
Horrifying concept or genius idea? You decide.
If you're feeling extra brave, you can book in to stay at the Sexual Health Condom-inium HERE. The apartment is only open for a limited period from 17 August 2015 - 6th September 2015, so get your booking in quick! (Or don't, depending on how you feel about this rather controversial concept...)
