Sounds Green is a series of relaxed picnic proms running from the the 1st to the 29th of July.

So bring along a chair, a cushion, or blanket; and sit back, eat good food, and enjoy the fantastic live performances on a summer evening.

Though a brolly might be worth packing (it is an English summer after all)

Food

The Garden Café will be offering a seasonal special menu and delicious nibbles and antipasti, ice creams, fresh strawberries with cream.

And if that isn't your thing, then you are also welcome to bring along your own picnic.

Sounds Green I: Morph Trio Wednesday 1st July, 6.15pm

Morph Trio are an acoustic piano trio from a jazz background, performing a variety of musical styles from around the world.

A highly energetic ensemble, Morph Trio like to excite and involve audiences with their own melting pot of influences.

Sounds Green II: Leading Ladies Wednesday 8th July, 6.15pm

The Leading Ladies have an enthusiasm to entertain as they perform high-calibre cross-style vocal and piano arrangements suitable for every possible performance occasion.

Sounds Green III: Project Jam Sandwich Wednesday 15th July, 6.15pm

Project Jam Sandwich is a dynamic collaboration of instruments and genres, adding their stamp to folk music from all over the globe.

Sounds Green IV: Soloists of the Deutsche Philharmonie Merck Wednesday 22nd July, 6.15pm

Ahead of their concert in King's College Chapel the next day, members of the wind section of this esteemed German orchestra perform pieces by Ibert, Gershwin, Mozart and more.
