The Hammer Museum has revealed its lineup for MoMA Contenders 2023, the annual film series organized by The Museum of Modern Art. Ten films will screen at the Hammer’s Billy Wilder Theater from Nov. 29 – Dec. 14, followed by Q&As with talent involved with the films. The films being presented are some of the most-anticipated and buzziest titles of the year and many will figure into the awards season race.The event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased at the Hammer website. They are $20 for general public and $10 for members.

The series kicks off Nov. 29 with a screening of Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer,” which will be followed by a discussion with a speical guest. Dec. 4 will see a screening of French film “The Taste of Things,” followed by a Q&A with director Trân Anh Hùng. Dec. 6 will see Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla” presented, followed by a Q&A with costume designer Stacey Battat. The Julianne Moore-Natalie Portman starrer “May December” will screen Dec. 11, followed by a conversation with director Todd Haynes and screenwriter Samy Burch. “You Hurt My Feelings” writer/director Nicole Holofcener will be present following a showing of her film on Dec. 12. And actor Greta Lee will appear following a screening of “Past Lives” on Dec. 13.

The series will then close out with a screening of Martin Scorsese’s “The Killers of the Flower Moon” on Dec. 14.

The remaining three films will have guests to be announced at a later date. Those include: “The Boy and the Heron,” Hayao Miyazaki’s first feature film in 10 years on Nov. 30; Jonathan Glazer’s “The Zone of Interest” on Dec. 5 and Bradley Cooper’s second directorial effort “Maestro” on Dec. 7
