Actor Alec Musser, best known for starring in the TV shows "All My Children" and "Desperate Housewives," has died, his fiancée Paige Press announced on Instagram on Saturday. He was 50.

"Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy," she continued in another post.
In another post, she confirmed that Musser had died on Saturday, January 13, 2024, writing: "RIP 4/11/73 — 1/13/24."
Press also confirmed the news of Musser's death to TMZ. The outlet reported that Musser died at his home in Del Mar, California.
A cause of death has not been confirmed.
Musser rose to fame after he took over the role of Del Henry (previously played by Winsor Harmon) on the ABC soap opera "All My Children" after winning SOAPnet's reality TV contest "I Wanna Be a Soap Star." He made debuted in 2005 and exited the show two years later in 2007.
He also appeared in "Rita Rocks," "Grown Ups," and "Road to the Altar." His last role was portraying Fredrich in the final season of "Desperate Housewives" in 2011.
Outside of his acting career, Musser was also a fitness model, according to Press. In one post commemorating his life, she described him as "the best model @abercrombie ever had."
