Shayla Stevens sued Da Brat years ago after the rapper smashed a bottle on her head at a nightclub. Shayla was awarded a 6.4 million judgment that has now grown to $8 million. Unfortunately, Shayla hasn't received a dime since Da Brat has filed for bankruptcy but Shayla is fighting to not have her money discharged and forgotten about.

According to The Blast, Shayla says Da Brat “acted with willful misconduct” when she assaulted her and since she was awarded the judgment, Da Brat has tried to do everything to not pay up. As we previously posted, Shayla requested receipts from Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri to prove that they were not supporting her and helping to hide money from her financial records.

Shayla even questions what happened to the money she made while performing for So So Def's 25th Anniversary Concert in October 2018. Shayla is simply fighting for her lawsuit to not be tossed out despite Da Brat's financial standing. Back in August, Da Brat filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy with assets at $108,700.65 and liabilities totaling $7,782,249.57.

The "Wachu Like" rapper has yet to respond to the latest filing.
